HIP Video Promo Presents: Paul Anthony x Solstarr release new music video for "Suéltalo"
Paul Anthony and Solstarr Bring Caribbean Energy to the Dance Floor With “Suéltalo”
FL, UNITED STATES, October 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- GRAMMY-nominated artist Paul Anthony’s life in music began at just three years old, singing alongside his father, Jamaican vocalist Pat Satchmo. Satchmo recorded during the rocksteady and early reggae eras and opened for Bob Marley & The Wailers at Toronto’s Massey Hall in 1975. Raised in Boca Raton among working musicians, Anthony developed his own approach to Dancehall, blending a Reggae foundation with pop melodies and hip-hop cadences.
His stepfather, Jamaican producer and multi-instrumentalist Maurice Walker, introduced him to music theory and recording techniques. By twelve, Anthony was writing lyrics, working in the studio and performing with a rap group he formed with classmates. He continued recording and releasing music while participating in local talent shows, honing his skills as an entertainer.
In 2014, he formed his band Paul Anthony & The Reggae Souljahs, building a following across South Florida with appearances at major events including SunFest, Miami Carnival and The Tequila Fest. Through a collaboration with Emilio Estefan, Anthony contributed as a songwriter and featured artist to “Philosophy of Life” and “Only in Jamaica” on The Wailers’ One World, which received a Best Reggae Album nomination at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards.
His single “Suéltalo,” featuring Solstarr, who also co-wrote and produced the track, leads StarSZN, an album three years in the making. Driven by a Dancehall groove and an infectious Spanish hook, “Suéltalo” brings Caribbean energy to the dance floor with crossover appeal. The collaborators sought to recapture the energy of their earlier release, “Dip,” without repeating it. They searched for a phrase that would work as a dance command and landed on “Suéltalo,” which can mean “drop it,” “let it go,” or “release it.” Here, it’s an invitation to loosen up and get low.
“Suéltalo” reached a quarter-million Spotify streams in its first six months and received airplay on Miami’s Power 96, New York’s The Block and Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Radio on SiriusXM.
Directed by Antwan Smith of Vigorous Films, the “Suéltalo” music video puts the song’s Dancehall energy into motion at Miami’s Club Amor. It features Anthony and Solstarr alongside sensual choreography and live fire performances by Holly Wood Productions. Holly, the company’s owner, coordinated casting and appears as the lead model and fire dancer. Blending Caribbean vibes with Miami nightlife, the “Suéltalo” music video invites viewers to feel the heat and embrace the moment on the dance floor. Anthony is now planning additional visuals for StarSZN while developing more music, including recordings with his father.
